| I originally come from the valleys but have lived in the Vale of Glamorgan for the last four years. I've been interested in the study of the paranormal for many years, and have had experiences in the past that I have never been able to explain. At the age of 33 I decided to take my interest further by means of helping to set up this group, before I got too stuck in my ways and missed the opportunity. I have a backround in psychology and part of the attraction of investigations for me is the opportunity to study the way people react to fear in unknown situations both as individuals and as part of a group. One of my main roles in the group is as a contact and liasion person which involves linking in with other similar groups and sharing experiences with them, learning from them and hopefully passing some ideas on that could be useful. Although I am what I guess would be classed "a believer" I also think that many occurances are explainable if we look hard enough and those which are paranormal are often only so because we do not yet totally understand the world around us. |

I'm from the valleys of south wales. My background is IT and I have a great interest in the paranormal. My aim within the group is to record and document as much evidence and activity as possible and then eliminate all rational explinations. You may see on other parts of this site my experiments, where I try to replicate paranormal activity with everyday objects and situations. I try to keep a sensible head about me when on investigations and try not to react to anything without first eliminating possibilites of natural occurence and environmental effects. I am also interested in "Time Travel Theory" and "Investigating Psychic Abilities". |

| There is so much us mere mortals do not understand and the paranormal is one of them!!! On Castell Coch's battlements in South Wales my family and i asked if anyone was with us and if they could show us a sign. We were stood by a window that was only slightly open. We carried on asking for a sign until someone asked for the window to be opened and with that the window opened fully. It opened with out any hesitation and all i can say is that it was a hot summers day with no breeze whats so ever. We were the only people on the battlements at the time. Aims = To catch a full manifestation on film or camera that cannot be explained other than paranormal. I would also like to try and develop any psychic skills i might have. |

I am a believer looking for explanation - things have happened to me which make me unable to believe other wise. Even from an early age things happened, less so now than then but that is probably because as an adult I am not so open/in tune. My aims - probably like everyone else, is to try and prove/ disprove their existence by gathering evidence of our experiences on camera/tape or whatever and finding logical explanations for the 'maybe' ( I'm not sure - was that paranormal??) moments and making note of those we can find no explanations for.
I read once somewhere 'There is no such thing as paranormal only our very limited understanding of our natural world' and I believe there is a lot of truth in this statement, I do not know who said it or where I read it but I adopted it as my signature. We label things as paranormal because we can neither understand nor explain the things that we experience and 'Paranormal' is an easy collective term to use rather than admit to our ignorance. I want to learn more/find reasons for and be able to find explanation for things I, as yet, cannot understand. |
